VitaLens: JD-CV and Culture Matching

Screening that reads for fit, not for keywords. VitaLens aligns the job description, the CV and your culture document to produce a shortlist you can defend.

The problem

Two hundred CVs. Four hours. One recruiter.

Keyword filters reject good candidates for using the wrong noun and pass weak ones who wrote the right one. What survives isn’t the best-fit shortlist. It’s the best-optimised CV.

And nothing in a keyword match speaks to whether the person will work well in your organisation, as opposed to any organisation hiring for that title.

How it works

Three inputs. One calibrated shortlist.

STAGE 01

Role framework built

Your job description becomes a structured competency framework: what the role demands, weighted.

STAGE 02

Culture anchored

Your culture document defines the working-style context every candidate is read against.

STAGE 03

CVs interpreted

Each CV read for substance: experience depth, role relevance and trajectory, not term frequency.

STAGE 04

Shortlist ranked

Candidates ranked by fit, each with the evidence that placed them where they are.

Capabilities

What VitaLens does

  • JD-to-CV alignment across skills, experience depth and role relevance
  • Culture fit assessed from your own culture document, not a generic values list or an interviewer’s impression
  • Screening beyond keywords. Synonyms, adjacent experience and trajectory are read, not filtered
  • Pre-interview ranking, so interview hours go to candidates most likely to convert
  • Fit evidence attached to every shortlisted profile
  • Volume handling built for cohorts of hundreds, not dozens

Questions

Common questions about VitaLens

Keyword filters match strings. VitaLens reads for substance: depth of experience, relevance of that experience to this role, and trajectory. A candidate who describes the same work in different words is not discarded, and a candidate who has optimised their CV for keywords does not automatically rise.

How decisions get made, how teams actually work together, what behaviour is rewarded and what is not tolerated. It does not need to be long. It needs to be honest, because every candidate is read against it.

VitaLens is built for cohorts of hundreds rather than dozens, which is where manual screening breaks down first.

Yes. Every shortlisted profile carries the fit evidence that placed it, so a ranking can be explained to a hiring manager or reconstructed later.
