Sainterview Tech Private Limited (“sainterview”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) is committed to safeguarding the privacy of everyone who visits our website at [www.sainterview.in] and who uses our services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information, and it sets out your rights and choices under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable laws in India.
sainterview acts in two capacities depending on the context. When we process candidate information such as CVs, interview recordings, transcripts, scores, or psychometric results on behalf of our customers, we do so only as a data processor, following the customer’s instructions. For information we collect directly, such as through our website, for support, billing, and marketing purposes, we act as a data fiduciary/controller and determine how the information is used.
We collect personal information that you provide to us directly, including your name, job title, company details, email address, phone number, and any queries you may raise. If you are a candidate using our platform, we may process your CV, responses to interview questions, video or audio recordings, and test results, but only on behalf of the employer who invited you. We also gather limited technical data when you interact with our website, such as your IP address, browser type, and cookie preferences, to help us maintain site performance and security. Where we engage in B2B outreach, we may obtain business contact details from third parties, but only as permitted by law and never without appropriate consent. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without parental approval.
We use personal information for the purpose of providing and improving our services, responding to your requests, supporting account management, billing, and compliance, and sending you information or updates where you have given consent. Candidate data is processed only to provide the contracted services to the employer and is not used for any other purpose. We do not sell personal information and we do not use candidate or customer data to train AI models unless this has been expressly agreed in writing.
Our services may use automated tools, such as transcription engines or scoring systems, to assist customers in their hiring processes. These tools are intended solely for decision support. Hiring decisions remain the responsibility of the employer, not sainterview. If you are a candidate, you may request human review of an automated assessment, seek a plain-language explanation of how the assessment was generated, or contest an outcome by contacting us at the email address provided below.
We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure our website functions correctly and to improve your browsing experience. Non-essential cookies, such as those used for analytics or marketing, are only activated with your consent, which you may manage or withdraw at any time using our cookie banner.
We may share personal information with carefully selected third-party service providers and sub-processors who support the delivery of our services. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and process it only under our instructions. We may also disclose information when required by law or government authorities, or with your explicit consent. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
We retain information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. Candidate information is retained strictly according to customer instructions and then securely deleted. Business records such as billing and compliance documentation are retained for the legally mandated period, while website and support data are kept only as long as needed to provide services.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. Where relevant, we align with internationally recognised standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected parties and authorities in accordance with applicable Indian law.
As provided under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access your personal data, request corrections, withdraw consent, or ask for deletion where legally permissible. You may also raise grievances in relation to our handling of your information. Requests can be sent to our Data Protection Officer or Grievance Officer at the addresses listed below.
We have appointed a Grievance Officer for compliance with the DPDP Act. You may contact the Grievance Officer at grievance@sainterview.in. Complaints will be acknowledged within forty-eight hours and resolved within thirty days. If you remain dissatisfied, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.
Our services may involve processing or storing data outside India, for example in secure cloud hosting environments in Asia or Africa. Any such transfers are carried out in compliance with Indian law and are subject to contractual safeguards to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Where there are material changes, we will provide advance notice by email or by placing a notice on our website. We also maintain a version history so that you can see how the policy has evolved over time.
